    Doddie Weir

Mrs FF pointed an article out in the weekends sport section of the Daily Telegraph. Farmer and rugby player Doddie Weir will be doing a fortnightly article covering his journey dealing with being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Although its a DT Premium article, for those interested you can register for free and may read one free premium article weekly!

A superb individual of whom I am very proud and privileged to regard as a friend.
After you have been with Doddie you always come away feeling a damn sight better than you were before.
Doddie's glass is always half full. An example to us all.
So if any of you have a few spare bob please donate to his charity which is raising as much money as possible for MND research. It will not help Doddie but could help others in the future.

I've only known 1 man who suffered from this disease but that was 1 too many. I know that this isn't going to help Doddie in his battle but will please him to be helping others in the future.
