    Short video of 1980's drum mowing first cut silage.

    Here's a video of us cutting first cut Italian rygrass in 1989, the grey gold 35 did all mowing those days and managed it well.

    Thanks, The driver is my oldest son who loved the thing, he drove it all the time.
    I've got more silage time video, it's finding time to do it but in time I will.

    My father used to mow round and ro0und, tedding out after him drove me nuts

    why stopping on the corners ? we just mow round and round clean out the head land at the end ..

    She would have been a bit light on the front with the mower folded around . i used to love mowing with 2 drum fhar they would get under just about any crop and leave a good finish

    most i knew used to do a 270 turn as the board on the end would catch if reversing ..

    The KM22 was a great machine which set the standard for drum mowers

    However I can remember my father having the odd broken cab window due to a stone or broken knife being thrown up, that was on a massey 135 in the early 70s

    Mowing with a cabless tractor with a KM22 must be a bit dodgy

    I've got more stuff but the camera that records from my VCR has clapped out, I'm working on a replacement as we speak.
