Why can't they get a job and buy their own tools. Probably flog them for a few $ to pay for their next fix.
Don't itch for something if you're not prepared to scratch for it.
I hope they didn't use your tools to steal your batteries.
a couple of decades ago (before battery tools were common) the thieves were using his 120v outside plug for their power tools to break into his machine shop. After he re-wired the plug to be 240v (2 phase) he started finding "burnt up" equipment laying near his door.
A friend of mine heard his dog bark one night and went back to sleep. In the morning he could see that he'd had visitors in the night. He watched the cctv footage
to see five thieving pikeys in his machinery shed take the batteries off his combine, sprayer, lorry, and a couple of tractors. They looked for the battery on his new R series John Deere but failed to find it.
My brother had a gang raid his farm shop and watched the footage of them wreck two tills for a small amount of change and help themselves to sweets and ice cream. The worrying part about it was that they were an organised gang from Liverpool and the police detectives pointed out that one of the gang was carrying a gun.
These thieving sods deserve everything they'll get if they ever get caught.
