Renting a shed to winter cattle

We’re looking into renting a shed off some friends of ours for store cattle this winter, the owners of the shed only keep sheep on their holding and are not registered with bcms so would anyone be able to explain to me how the movement would work?
Would they have to register with bcms to move my cattle ON to their holding or is there a simple way I can move them off my holding and into theirs myself? Thanks in advance

    Shouldn’t be difficult.
Pretty sure that you in conjunction with your neighbour could set up a CTS account for your neighbour.
But I think you can create a TLA (temporary land agreement) and define a shed as part of your business therefore no need to inform BCMS of a movement.....cattle are in effect staying on your holding in land or a building under your sole control.
Assuming no one else will have cattle in the shed.
Needs to be registered with map references etc before any cattle move.
I will do a bit of research.

    There you go.....should help out.

That’s exactly what I was looking for, I couldn’t make any sense out of the gov.uk website when I looked but guessed there would be a simpler option! Thanks Gee, much appreciated
