    Agricultural Crime University Survey

    Hello,
Im a Product design student from the University of Brightonwith a farming background.
Im looking for any farmers who would be willing to help mefill out my online survey for my research report on agricultural crime basedspecifically upon theft. You do not need to have experienced theft, but simplyfeel passionately about trying to prevent it. The survey focusses aroundfarmers thoughts about crime as well as the storage of their machinery.
The survey consists of mainly multiple choice questions and it should only take a short period of time to complete and Iam extremely grateful for any help! Any data obtained from the survey willremain anonymous and you will not be asked to provide any personal information.
Thank you in advance for any help!

I am not a farmer but an agricultural engineer for 42yr's and in that time have spoken to farmers who have lost tools and or machinery my opinion is if one lets rat's into a country they mix with home grown ones and produce super rat's the real answer would be to exterminate them,i can remember the day's when one could leave the backdoor of a house unlocked along with the garden shed nothing would be stolen unfortunately those days are long gone,it's so easy to get stolen machinery into a container or in the front of an artic and by the next it would be in Europe,i have fitted deadman switch's to several machine well hidden these would take a fair time to bypass, had one chap his workshop side wall was partly removed so thieves could get in,how would you stop that cannot put razor wire up or main's electric knowing what it's like today if the wall had collapsed on them the owner would have been fined by health and safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
