Thread: Manitou 527 dash lights

    Manitou 527 dash lights

    Looking for advice.
    Most of the dash lights including battery light
    on manitou 527 stay on when running. Voltage rising so alternator seems to be charging.
    Any help?

    Well first thoughts are the alternator.

    Pull the small wire out of the alternator plug all them lights should go out running or not.

    If they dont then you will have that wire rubbed through to an earth somewhere.

    With small wire off.There are no dash lights on. So is alternator goosed?

    So long as you had ignition on or was running then yes alternator fudged. Turbo exhaust not filling it with soot? That kills them early.
