    John Deere 6600 lift problem

Hi. I have a John Deere 6600 and it has the old round type lifts with a button in the middle. The problem is it only puts the arms up and down if you hold the button down and not click and release, also the turn nob only puts linkage up and down from 1-4 and rest of numbers donít work. Is this a simple job of calibration or does it need replaced. Also will it be a simple conversion to later lift switch?

I had one of the old "Christmas cake" type controls replaced on a 6400 years ago. Can't remember how much but it wasn't too bad. Yours could probably be calibrated but the newer type is a lot nicer to use. Ask your local dealer for a price for calibration vs upgrade.

The slider type is a lot easier to work with. You'll be happy with it.
