    Ford 7610 dual power fault

    Hello everyone
Got a slight problem with a 7610 series 2. Everytime you switch the lights on the dual power changes from high to low. Any common causes TIA

I'm dying to say it looks like switching the lights on..................................

But being realistic, 1st shot would be to check the cab earth strap? Next would be to look for a chafed wire earthing somewhere? One trick to shorten the hunt can be to remove fuses one at a time to see if the fault disappears, put it back and try the next one. Check alls well in where the solenoid is. Its also possible to disconnect there at the connector and put a test bulb or test lead on the loom connection there so you can easily fault find with the ignition turned on and watch the light- also handy if you leave the lights switched on & making the test bulb light, then work around the wiring loom moving it about to see if anything makes the bulb go out?

Best of luck, it will be something daft, usually is.
