    Claas Ares 656 problems

    Hello!

In the last month our Claas Ares 656 RZ has been doing some wird problems. Sometimes, wile working, it will go only on idle engine speed and the transmision will remain stuck in the gear range that it is at the moment.
We thought that the problems were caused by the wiring harness from the engine and we have that replacet with a new one (all the wires from.the engine compartment) but it is still doing this.
We have a Claas mechanic that come with a diagnose computer but the tractor won't flash any code.
Has any one encountered this problem?

I can't find any place to check and repair the ecu in my country. I found David King Electronics in UK. Has any one some experience with them?

Kings repair for dealers and manufacturers too. They have been fixing Ag electronics for years.

We started with David when he started up on his own. He had worked for Massey Ferguson before. It was in the old days when weightronics had a virtual monopoly of electronic weighing systems.

I have sent the ecu today to David. Is it possible that the engine ecu could influence the transmision because when the engine is not accelerating the transmision will onli stai in 4th range no matter what speed, even of it is in high or low?
