    David brown 1290 clutch pressure?

    Is the clutch on a David brown 1290 quite heavy normal it has been apart to replace bearing in clutch unit that had broke up and stoped clutch from working,replaced both plates all bearings new master cylinder seals and new slave cylinder,clutch fork seems free PTO clutch seems fine and clutch breaks drive ok just seems quite heavy to push pedal to floor are these clutches like this?

    I used to have a 1390 and a 1490 and the clutches were different on both of them. 1390 soft and 1490 a bit firmer.

    David Brown has a really good facebook page where there are some excellent people who have a lot of answers. Many are ex DB mechanics.
