The NTSAg research team at University of Aberdeen want to learn more about how farmers think about, and deal with, stress. This study is part of an undergraduate thesis project and is composed of an online survey which will ask you questions about stress, get you to assess some scenarios to decide if the person is stressed (or not) and fill in two short scales on help seeking and self confidence. Stress is a key issue in farming and we hope the results of this study will go some way to producing more materials to support farmers in dealing with stress. The survey should take a maximum of 20 to 25 minutes to complete. The survey is completely anonymous so you won't be asked for your name or location. We are looking for farmers, farm workers and contractors to take part from the UK and Ireland.

I would be very grateful if as many farmers as possible could take part in the survey - both because stress is a serious issue in farming which we need to know more about, and also to help and support my student in this, his first research project!

To take part click on one of the below links which will take you to further information and the survey (the surveys are the same, just with the order of scenarios altered to balance presentation):
