    Resin driveways

I see the advertising banner over the top of the Forum today is promoting resin driveways.
I appreciate the forum needs such advertising to pay its costs, however having been the proud owner of a resin driveway. I would advise anyone contemplating such a move to run a mile. Then another.
Do not touch them with your bargepole, or your mate's.
    They are phenomenally expensive.
They are fine for a garden path. No issues, but as soon as vehicles drive on them they will start to break up.
This results with fine grains of gravel which stick in the soles of your shoes and trail inside destroying wooden floors and generally offending the lady of the house.
The driveway disintegrates until the under surface is revealed in all its ugly glory.
and your ten year warranty , sorry guv, but Gary Smith Drives folded 3 years ago, but G Smith surfacing, are very happy to come and quote to replace
    Ixworth Solar Farming Ltd.

That's a really useful post. Thank you for that. Sounds like you and the good lady had a bad experience.

    A good warning to all.
