Wanted to ask anyone who is familiar with automatic scraper systems, or anyone who represents any business that makes them, if it's possible to install a hydraulic ratchet system that would run up either the left or right hand side of a yard lane, rather than the middle, and have just one arm that stretches out across the width of the lane. Would the forces on the rail be too great maybe? It would be much easier to get vehicles in and out of the yard if I installed a system that sits at the side rather than in the middle. Cheers guys!
