I’m an engineering student doing a group project on the use of LiDAR scanning in agriculture,

The group project is about using drones with Lidar technology to scan crop fields to gain data on the crops e.g. to create an elevation map, which farmers can use to predict crop yield, determine which crops to plant in a given area, and save on expensive fertiliser.
