    New member help.?

    Hi everyone .
    Having enjoyed reading the posts over the past few years ,I have finally rejoined with new details and can finally post items now.Been a member before but never been able to post or comment.Just wondering how to post pictures?

    For now you need to use an external host.
    Old favourites are www.imageshack.us and www.photobucket.com
    But there are lots of others - in particular I'd recommend www.postimage.org
    Postimage if not the others offers the option to resize as you upload.
    A sensible size is the 800 (pixels) longest side, however most screens now will be OK even with the 1024 which seems to be accepted as a standard 'maximum'.

    You can upload without any account with them, or create a free account and have an online store of you images in separate galleries.
    They show codes you can paste in here.
    You need to select the BB code for most forums.
    That's the one using [square] brackets.
    Or you can use the direct link to the image URL and click the image button above the 'compile message' box while typing, a small window opens to paste it in.
