RTK Z Axis accuracy and repeatability

Has anyone had any experience with mapping altitude using a standard or RTK receiver, How accurate and repeatable are they for this application?

5-10cm any very variable, repeatability can be achieved within this range

Construction grading systems use lasers for final point precision.

I just had the farm mapped by soyl and they provide a map showing altitude, with contour lines.

I also played the other day just watching the altitude change as I drove around, it didn't move much but as I am on flat Romney Marsh I didn't expect it to, when I drove onto a track it did indeed go up by a foot or so. The readout was constantly changing by 10-20cm so it would need some software to flatten it out a bit I guess.
