I am drilling with my fendt in the canola planting thread and much prefer it over the jds I have used. Not used an r series but have used everything before and I won't be buying jd any time soon.

I believe it's an 828 Vario? Which means it is 280 hp.

Hi chae this is the second 7r we have hired this one isnt throwing up a dozen error codes every day like the last one but still don't like them for many reasons, I'm back on my 9t today and sat in the cab it just feels better quality the sound level is about the same but without the horrible exhaust drone that the 7r has , the fendt was a 828 profi plus 280 hp

Your new JD sprayer is a bit of an animal compared to your old one

She's going well!! (Finally got registered on here after a year of trying!)

Hi skep , how things your way didn't think I would see her again , yes the new one is A bit of a animal if I'm honest sometimes to big and I miss the 24 metres , but then when we get in to our bigger blocks at Weston it's awesome , hope the the househam has so far been good for you it was a difficult start for both of us I guess with new sprayers and rubbish weather , but we got there .

you will not find another machine that pulls & grips like a quad ! The cab is big & quiet . The leather seat takes some beating too !!

Your right the thing was awesome way infront of the twin tracks , to me a while to get used how many times I had to turn the steering wheel to make it turn , but was surprised it did turn on the same size headland as my Deere ,

The leather seat in my Deere is nice too , I'd say the cab is quieter in the field but she was noisier on the road than mine , but so much more comfortable didn't feel any bumps at all , they certainly have nailed the cab suspension

There is another track system out in the states can't remember what the system is called , I've seen deeres and new Hollands running them , but as deeres seem to think there active seats does away with the need of cab suspension it would be a rough ride in that , cant work out why deeres think the active seat is the bees knees , crawlers just don't bounce to make the seat work, I just sit there all day in mine and it hardly moves , the cab needs to be more isolated like the quaddy

I Guess the quadtrac is faster than its own shadow?

Impressive machines, what kind of transmission do they come With?

Do they use AD BLUE and how much diesel does it use/hour at full pull?
