I don't suppose the Health and Safety Executive would have a model risk assessment for that never mind anything else.

Just thinking what my hip joint would feel like hanging by my ankle, then think of 600kg hanging by the same.

You couldn't do that over here - after 20 years of EBV their legs would break

im pretty sure they're angle and hips are stonger than a persons. i suppose the most humane way to do it would be to shoot them first, but im sure they have a reason for not doing so, very safe way to load them, the guys in the video mention the bulls being aggressive

I can't understand how the first one in the truck stays there. If they're as wild as all that you'd think they'd be coming out over the side before they'd got any company.

People tie themselves by the ankle and throw themselves off buildings etc in the name of extreme sport(bungee jumping).

I was a bit shocked to see it first but, I have seen cattle lifted from snow in a similar fashion and they appeared to be remarkably calm and certainly were not hurt or injured. Probably one of those things that looks alot worse than what it is. But still except for the odd animal I think theres got to be better ways.

    On one leg?

Amazed at the video. Can't believe the cattle are OK afterwards or that occasionally one gets dropped or hits a tree or rock. Think it's a great advert why people should buy British Beef.

What I find most surprising is the ability of that piddling little helicopter to lift upwards of half a ton and how stable it was with an idiot on the skid and a beast slung underneath.Much more stable than an Ifor Williams behind a SWB landrover anyway!Maybe someone on here,(rich barley baron) has a helo as well as a yacht and can tell us what the payload of that dinky toy is.Like to see it on a big Charolais bull............

Considering how old the pilot looks it's certainly not a recent film.

You can do a lot of things with a wee helicopter if you have big ba***

mind you if you've just got big b*** and a rotten tree you can dispense with the helicopter.Whatever he's paid it wouldn't be enough for me!
