Yes, I agree! I got all excited that there was something new from Defra & put link up before reading it.
There's been so much speculated & discussed that it's going to be easy to get confused about what is or isn't actually finally decided.
Surely it can't be long before they tell us the rest?

reading what information avaliable there is no indication of time period on options. i.e lookin likely our own situation nitrogen fixing crops will be required this coming year as already in a full els program but this finishes jan 2016 and may wish to use these options instead of n fixing crops as peas/beans not always sutiable every year for different land types and field size depending on rotation . will this mean more paper work every year to inform them which field is exactly what and decide on a yearly basis what we declare i.e field margin or n fixing crops or fallow?

why? rotation is a good thing....why have so many abandoned it?....everytime i used to drive past a field of flowering beans i'd say to myself 'they should be compulsory to grow they smell so nice' careful what you wish for

... & here we are, still no further forward!

We've been trying to think about what grass seed we need to order while it's too wet to harvest, but there's still a few more 'details' we could do with knowing, about the new greening & EFA rules!

Meanwhile, I see Defra has released the recording of The Farming Advice Service CAP greening webinar -

Something else that we've got to look forward to is ...

The only thing worth knowing about the CAP is when they are abolishing it. It's become a farce.
