Cow gives birth to multiple breeds..? really?

    http://modernfarmer.com/2014/09/inde...fferent-breed/

This has appeared on my faceache news tonight. Now I had a cow who produced 4 calves (dead) but can there be any credibility in this story?

I've had it happen from genus fertility plus semen

I'm a wee bit surprised by the amount of white on the 'limousin'. And, I could be mistaken because of how my monitor is portraying the colour, but the very deep jet black would also not be how they would usually be born on our farm.

I've 2 Lim x Holstein calves,1 is dark brown (starting to turn black) with white socks, the other is black with socks and a star,it's all down to the genes

we've had twins one from one breed and one from another couple of times and think one was triplets. Only ever had it from cow being served AI then being put with bull if she's long time calved or struggling to get in calf.

The 2 I have both have the bottom third of their tail white and there's some sucklers near me ,calves by the Limmy ex Limmy x cows and they all have white on them, some a lot more than than the black triplet.
