Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.

Got some video but not sure how to upload it! Flew over Gloucestershire airport this afternoon. Thousands of folk turned out to watch it. A truly iconic aircraft, just like the spitfire and Concorde!

Easiest if you have a YouTube account to put it on there and then you can put a link here, or embed it so it actually shows in your post.

Went off down to Winchester mid-morning & headed back after lunch up the A34 and took the old road from Sutton Scotney to Micheldever where there were several field gateways looking over the A303- parked up and waited 10min for G-VULC to appear. Having left Farnborough, she came straight in over Popham airstrip, rolled a bit to one side and then gave it a bit of throttle for effect, levelled up and was gone west towards Old Sarum. There was a lot of cars, people and light planes in on Popham to see it, but TBH being a bit further back gave a longer viewing but it also made you realise the size of it when she rolled on her side.

Going off the flight plan we were expecting it to fly over the field behind our house, in the end I got a good video of it flying over the top of our house!

    Vulcan's last flight today.
Here ends a chapter in Avaition history.
Along with Concorde marks backwards advances in British Avaition -Sad day.
